PayFast
PayFast is a hassle free payments processing service for South Africans and South African websites. They enable easy, secure and instant transfer of money between online buyers and sellers.
If you have a PayFast account, just checkout with PayFast and login to complete your purchase accordingly. It’s easy to create an account if you have not already done so. Feel free to contact us if you need more information.
What if I don’t have a PayFast Account?!
Don’t worry as you do not need to own a PayFast account to pay: you just need to enter your email address and click “Pay”. Next they will ask you to choose the payment method you prefer (VISA, EFT, Mobicred or other), then you will need to enter your data directly at PayFast’s secure webpage and complete your payment. You don’t need to register a PayFast account either.
Once payment has been confirmed you will receive an order confirmation email from Awesome Goodies & Prints to confirm your purchase. If you are uncertain whether your purchase went through and you did not receive a confirmation email feel free to contact us.
TROUBLESHOOTING PAYFAST PAYMENTS
Depending on a number of factors you could run into problems when paying at PayFast. Some common issues are:
The payment has gone through but I did not receive a confirmation email from Awesome Goodies & Prints?
This most likely means that PayFast deducted the money from your account but sent it to your PayFast wallet. If you did not receive a confirmation email from us then we did not receive your payment. In this case you will need to place your order again via our website, but this time instead of entering your card or bankd details again, you need to enter the email address that you first used and then you will need to click on the PayFast Wallet payment option to use the funds that was deducted previously. We are still investigating why this happens to some customers. If you need any confirmation or assistance you may contact PayFast Support on 021 300 4455.
I am not getting redirected to PayFast at all
Your browser’s PayFast cookies might be messed up; you may try deleting your cookies to fix this < Please Try This Step Very Important.
PayFast is not accepting my credit card
Please double check the data you entered on PayFast’s form. If everything is correct, chances are that you actually do own a PayFast account and that your credit card is associated with that PayFast account. If this is the case, then you will only be able to pay with that card by logging into that particular PayFast account. If this is too much trouble, then just try paying with a different credit card.
I can’t find a “VISA / INSTANT EFT / OTHER?” payment option
Unfortunately, PayFast does not allow direct credit card payments in all cases. Sometimes it is because of your location, or sometimes PayFast might believe by checking your browser’s cookies that you actually own a PayFast account. You might try deleting your cookies to get around this. If you are still unable to troubleshoot the cause of your PayFast error, contact PayFast for assistance by clicking here.
